Rene was our guide, he was knowledgeable, helpful and a huge factor in our overall enjoyment of the day. Very much enjoyed the tour of St Emilion, Rene's information about the history and buildings was impressive. I would have welcomed a bit more time here to browse and shop before moving on. The Chateaux visits and tastings were very interesting, and it was lovely to see a bit of the countryside. However, as said above and as a general comment I'd have enjoyed a bit less of the presentations and longer time in the village. Picnic lunch was lovely, and overall a most enjoyable day, and would recommend it for sure.
K

I highly recommend this trip without the lunch! The picnic lunch was extremely disappointing! so not worth the difference in money between a trip that offers lunch versus one that doesn't (its a difference of about 45 euros and what we got was a fraction of that worth of food --- the saddest part is that we had to have lunch in the chateau that offered a 32 euro bbq lunch to its guest but we were not allowed to have that and theirs looked good).
