Médoc region is one of the best-known parts of the Bordeaux vineyard. Discover this area by visiting two wineries, including a Grand Cru Classé at Margaux, and sample a wide variety of wines (mainly reds).

9:25 am (or 2:25 pm): meet in front of the Cité du Vin (Wine Museum). Your guide will welcome you and explain the day's programme.

9:30 am (or 2:30 pm): departure.

We begin with a visit to the winery to be classified as a Cru Bourgeois. You will discover how the wines are made and how this organic vineyard is run before tasting 3 wines from the estate (Haut-Médoc, Moulis-en-Médoc and Margaux).

Then we'll head for the village of Margaux, where you'll visit a second estate classified as a Grand Cru 1855 and growing its vines organically or biodynamically. After a tour of the technical facilities, you will taste 3 wines from this Grand Cru Classé of Margaux.

1:30 pm (or 6:30 pm): return to Bordeaux (+/- 15 min.).

Depending on local requirements, the programme may be modified.

Great afternoon activity in Bordeaux

Our guide Vincent was engaging knowledgeable and attentive. Two wineries with very different methods, it was interesting to compare their wines. Hosts at each winery were excellent; beautiful venues, great wines and I learned a lot.

Emmanuel is very kind and knowledgeable, we had a lucky "private" tour since there's only me and my girlfriend in the tour, we enjoyed Emmanuel's company and introduction to the wine scene in Bordeaux. The weather was lovely and the staffs at wineries were also friendly, we learned quite a lot about how the wine is produced there and had extensive of the wine there. Great experience!

Excellent wine tour. Emmanuel was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. He took us to two very interesting (organic) wineries in the Medoc region. The guides at the wineries were also very professional and the wines we tasted had a good variety. Heartily recommend.
