Olala Bordeaux

Generally a great tour. Driver unexpectedly dropped us off at a different location at the end of the tour however and we had to walk farther than anticipated to get back to our hotel. We were in the rear of the vehicle and could not really hear much of his commentary because of road noise.

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting session with Vincent! He has a really in-depth knowledge of Bordeaux wines and is able to pass on his expertise in a clear and very accessible way. He quickly realised we already had some basic understanding of wine and immediately adapted his talk and approach to our level. This was a birthday gift for my partner and I was worried that this would be a very 'touristy' experience. But it was very professional and we tasted some very good quality wines. It was great value for money, especially as a small cheese and charcuterie platter is included.. At no time were we urged to buy any wine afterwards, but we were keen to return to benefit from Vincent's guidance in making a few choice purchases (unfortunately we didn't have time on this occasion- but we may well contact Olala later to make an order). As a short introduction to Bordeaux wines, we highly recommend this experience and will seriously consider doing a chateau day or half-day tour with Olala in the future. Merci Vincent!

We were very pleased with the overall experience. Our driver/guide was great. The wines were delicious and the wineries enjoyable. The lunch was only okay but that was minor given the overall experience. We highly recommend to anyone considering a winery tour from Bordeaux.

We had a really great day and tasted some fantastic wines. Our guide Xavier was very knowledgeable and good fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to experience the countryside around Bordeaux and its wine heritage.
