Nicknamed the "Little Versailles of Saint-Emilion," Château Saint-Georges stands on the highest hill of the Saint-Georges Saint-Emilion appellation. Once a Gallo-Roman villa and later a medieval stronghold, it was transformed into a chartreuse in the 18th century by the famous architect Victor Louis. Come and taste its great wines and explore its history.
During the summer season, we offer "Sensations and Flavors" garden tours for €15 per person, and "Terroir and Nectar" tours for €10 per person, which include a vineyard and cellar visit with tastings of 2 wines.
