Off the beaten tourist track, discover the richness of an undiscovered vineyard and the fascinating history of a UNESCO World Heritage site.Your adventure begins with the exploration of the majestic Citadel of Blaye, a masterpiece of military architecture designed by Vauban. Accompanied by a passionate guide, you will walk along its ramparts and secret passages while enjoying breathtaking views of the Gironde estuary. Every stone tells a story, and this immersive experience will plunge you into the region’s strategic heritage.
After this historical interlude, head to a family-run château nestled among the rolling vineyards of Bourg or Blaye. Here, there is no mass production, but rather a know-how passed down from generation to generation. You will discover the secrets of local winemaking, from the vineyards to the cellar, including traditional vinification techniques. The visit concludes with a convivial wine tasting of two wines.
Departure from the Bordeaux Tourist Office at 1:30 PM, return at 6:30 PM. Each participant must present an e-ticket, either downloaded or printed, to board the bus.

Each participant must present their e-ticket, either downloaded or printed, to board the bus; babies and children under 5 years old are not allowed for safety reasons.Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and are not permitted to taste the wine.
