Go off to explore the lovely medieval village of Saint-Emilion and visit two wineries (a top winery Grand Cru Classé and a family-run estate Grand Cru) during with local guide speaking English

The little extra of the tour: a food and wine pairing will be offered at the first winery OR sweet specialities from Bordeaux macaroons from Saint-Emilion & cannelés depending on the day of the visit.

This 5 hour tour is offered in the morning (departure at 8:30 a.m.) as well as in the afternoon (1:30 p.m.).

8.20 am/1.20 pm : Meet your guide in 1 Place Stalingrad - In front of LCL BANK

8.30 am/1.30 pm : Departure to Saint-Emilion. Along the way, the guide will provide you with all the information about the Bordeaux & Saint-Emilion wine regions

9.15 am/2.20 pm : Enjoy a guided tour of the village of Saint Emilion

10 am / 3 pm : Visit an authentic and charming family-run estate Saint-Emilion Grand Cru. You will discover the history of the winery, visit the technical facilities and you will learn about the various stages of the winemaking process from the vine to the bottle. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy an aperitif with french delicacies (cheese, sausage, crackers & chocolate) with your wines. Warning: This is not a meal but an aperitif!

11.30am/4.30 pm : Visit a Grand Cru Classé Château (top growth winery) and tasting its wines.

1.30pm/6.30pm : End of your Saint-Emilion wine tour, back in Bordeaux

Amazing tour with the best wine guide

The tour was amazing, very complete and with good tastings, we were given very interesting information about the wine process and local wines, the places visited were very beautiful and with a good amount of tastings ( 6 in total). The start of the tour was on time and the maximum number of people was respected, which made it quite comfortable. All the booking process was very good and easy. Sonia, our guide, was very kind and knowledgeable, she provided great information for all the wine area in Bordeaux and also great suggestions for food and places to visit. We stayed around 30min in St Emilion village and I loved it, at the end I wish I had more time to spend there, but that is mentioned in the tour and no complains about it, just consider in case you want to know better the village or take time for sitting down in a great restaurant or have more tasting. I definitely recommend the tour!

Vineyard, wine tasting and St Emilion afternoon visit

The trip was easy to book and we were kept in touch by email. The directions for the pick up were very clear. It was a very enjoyable and interesting afternoon. Our guide gave us a clear and informative talk on the way to the first vineyard. We tasted some excellent wines. The visit to historic St Emilion added variety. I would recommend this trip with confidence.
