Come experience a unique moment in the heart of Bordeaux, just a few steps away from the Grand Theatre, in the company of a wine expert.

You will discover the art of wine tasting in a friendly and warm atmosphere that will be both an oenology class and a wine bar.During this activity, you will be introduced to the concepts of terroir, grape variety, appellation, and blending. You will learn more about the different types of Bordeaux wines and their history. You will be able to ask our expert all your questions and exchange with him about your wine preferences.

The tasting will include a glass of white wine and two red Bordeaux wines, including a Grand Cru. The wines will be paired with a selection of refined local cheeses and charcuterie from local producers. You will discover the secrets of the wine-making process, the different tasting steps, and some knowledge about food and wine pairings. You will be able to get initiated to wine tasting techniques and to the identification of wine aromas.

This tasting moment will be an unforgettable experience that will transport you over Bordeaux wines and make you live a unique olfactory journey.

An excellent Wine Tasting experience

We thoroughly enjoyed our wine tasting session with Vincent! He has a really in-depth knowledge of Bordeaux wines and is able to pass on his expertise in a clear and very accessible way. He quickly realised we already had some basic understanding of wine and immediately adapted his talk and approach to our level. This was a birthday gift for my partner and I was worried that this would be a very 'touristy' experience. But it was very professional and we tasted some very good quality wines. It was great value for money, especially as a small cheese and charcuterie platter is included.. At no time were we urged to buy any wine afterwards, but we were keen to return to benefit from Vincent's guidance in making a few choice purchases (unfortunately we didn't have time on this occasion- but we may well contact Olala later to make an order). As a short introduction to Bordeaux wines, we highly recommend this experience and will seriously consider doing a chateau day or half-day tour with Olala in the future. Merci Vincent!

Great start to our time in Bordeaux! Noe was so knowledgeable and informative on the area and Wines in the region. He was very helpful and did terrific job discussing and leading us through tasting of wines. If it’s your first time in the area, I would start here and enjoy this introduction to the region. If you’re lucky, you will get an Noe.

We really enjoyed our session with Noe, who took time to get to know us, and explained all about Bordeaux wines. The cheese board was appreciated too. We learnt a lot, in a fun atmosphere. We highly recommend this tasting.
