This is a unique half-day tour for those who want to discover the Medoc wine region and especially the Margaux appellation, world famous for its lead 1er Grand Cru Classé: Château Margaux.

9:00am Departure from Bordeaux Tourism Office.
Come and admire the lowlands of the Medoc and learn about all the specificities of this wine region with your guide.
10:00am Experience a first visit and wine tasting session in an 1855 Classified Growth Château. The classification resulted from the 1855 Exposition Universelle de Paris, when Emperor Napoleon III requested a classification system for France's best Bordeaux wines which were to be on display for visitors from around the world.
11:30am Enjoy a second wine tasting at a "Grand Cru Bourgeois" Chateau or Margaux appellation.
1:00pm Return to Bordeaux Tourism Office.
The wines from Medoc region are known for their perfumed fragrances. A treat for both novice and wine enthusiasts.
