Welcome in the heart of the Graves region, at Château de Portets !
On this tour, you'll discover the history of the château, its views over the Garonne and its cellars.
Meet in the château's courtyard, from where you can step out onto the Renaissance terrace to admire the panoramic view over the vineyards, the Garonne River and the old harbour of Portets village.
Your guide will then lead you into the scenographic area, where a film will tell you all about the history of Château de Portets, from the ancient harbour to the arrival of the Théron family.
You will then enter the cellars: press, vats, barrels... Your guide will show you all the stages in the production of our wine.
Finally, spend some time on your own in our “four seasons” area: discover the cycle of the vine and the work in the vineyard through our exhibition and our touch screen, which will answer all your questions !
The visit concludes with a tasting of 3 wines accompanied by pâté and wine confit made with our vintages. And you'll leave with your own engraved glass as a souvenir !
