Luxury private tour of Bordeaux and vineyards

Our tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. He also took great pics for us! A luxury way to see and learn about the area.

Our tour was with Guillaume and he was absolutely lovely and planned a custom itinerary based on the type of wine we like and what we wanted to see/do! We really enjoyed our time spent touring the city of Bordeaux especially seeing in person the church we later saw in a painting at the Chateaux. The expression on everyone’s faces as we drove by were too numerous to count. Some wished to hop in and join us with our champagne that was exquisitely selected. The wine tour was very special and the history of Thomas Jefferson ‘s visit and seeing his 250 year old pecan tree that he had planted was grand for we too are from Virginia, Mr Jefferson’s home in the USA. Thank you to Guillaume for an unforgettable experience, touring around Bordeaux in the most beautiful classic Citroën. What a stunning car, maintained in perfect condition - it was hard not to notice people's gaze turning in our direction everywhere we went. Guillaume was a fantastic host, firstly being very flexible by accepting my late request and then checking the details with me, taking into account the hot weather forecast for the day. On the day, he arrived early and ready for us at the hotel, and then commenced with a tour of the city and stopping for photos before heading to the famous Chateau Smith Haut Lafitte winery which he had suggested for us. Guillaume was very knowledgeable about the winery, giving us special insights before we had our tasting. We finished our 3 hour tour with a final loop around some more sights of the city before dropping us off at a lunch spot that he suggested to us. We loved our experience and highly recommend Guillaume and his beautiful classic Citroën. The only thing I would have changed is scheduling it earlier and doing it at the start of our stay in Bordeaux so we could go back to some of the sites and suggestions Guillaume made for bars and restaurants around Bordeaux. Maybe also adding the bottle of champagne to make the experience sparkle even more! I did extensive research before booking with Guillaume and I'm so glad I made the right decision - my partner loved his birthday, and I did too!
