Rustic Vines Tour

We had the best day! We were so impressed by the sites they showed us in Saint Emilion and all the wine tastings were plentiful. A delish lunch in the most picturesque atmosphere! Would definitely recommend!

Taylor, our guide was very knowledgeable and the destinations were great. Excellent wines and hosts at each location, the only issue was a bit of traffic. Learned more than I ever would imagine about wine.

We spent a lovely day with our guide, getting about the regions of St.-Émilion and Médoc by van. Our tour was full, so do book enough in advance to not be disappointed, as there are only 8 passenger seats. We drove first to the village of St.-Émilion, where we first walked through the town. The visit began with the church, which is quite interesting with its two different architectural forms. There is a view over the roofs of the town from behind it. Our first tasting was in the street between the church and the town's overlook, in a very nice wine shop whose proprietor conducted a very informative tasting of five wines. Next up was a drive to another winery (chateau), where we also had a nice picnic lunch outside on the lawn, followed by the drive to the nearby Médoc region. We toured three wineries (chateaux) here, all with very good wines and different but equally beautiful settings. At a couple of these, we also received tours of the facilities, and it happened that we were there either during the harvest or on the last day of the harvest, so were able to see some of that activity. I highly recommend this tour. It began at 8:30am and we arrived back at our starting point just before 6pm. The entire day was very interesting and delightful, including our fellow travelers. The guide was excellent in her explanations as well as with the driving. And a shoutout to our companions from Australia and from the U.S./Africa.

This was great wine tour of the regions but it was because of our guide THEO! Absolutely made the whole day such a great experience with his knowledge of not only wines but the history of Bordeaux. From the start to the end he made everyone feel comfortable and involved in every part of the experience and even when we had a little hiccup during the day, he found a way for us to still see another Chateau and get a tasting in somewhere else and a moments notice. Definitely book this tour and if your lucky enough to get Theo, you won’t be disappointed! Thanks again

It was a last minute decision to do this tour and initially my wife was a little hesitant re the e-biking as we are in our senior years but we went ahead. We are so glad we did. Riding through the vines and discovering the many beautiful Chateaus and country side was spectacular! Maud our guide is full of live and so in communication with everyone and her knowledge on wine is a cut above. We learnt so much from her and the wineries we visited. We had a lovely picnic lunch and 3 wine tastings It was so much fun. I would highly recommend both the tour company and Maud our tour guide.
