Founded in 1993, Cousin & Compagnie is one of the oldest independent wine cellars in Bordeaux and a pioneer in the introduction and commercialization of biodynamic and natural wines since the mid-2000s.
Firmly convinced that the preservation of our natural heritage also depends on vineyard and winery practices, at Cousin & Compagnie, 90% of our selection consists of organic, biodynamic, or natural wines from family estates or independent winemakers.
Visiting our Bordeaux cellar means discovering rare gems from all over France and abroad, whether they are Grand Crus or “friend wines.” A true cabinet of curiosities, Cousin & Compagnie can satisfy both novices and connoisseurs, as well as those seeking unique finds.

St Emilion Chateaux and village tour
Chateaux tours were very good. Great hosts and guides both at the chateaux and the overall tour guide, Brigitte, who was very informative. She gave a good background to the significance of the terroir and varieties of grapes. St Emilion village was very interesting. No difficulties with booking/activities. Very enjoyable day.

Bordeaux City Pass a must-have
Very easy to book online and collect card from the tourist office. It is really good value with all public transport and many places of interest included.

St Emilion Tour Experience
Our tour guide Alexander was knowledgable and personable. The first winery hostess was exceptional & shared very good info. The second tour host seemed young and needed more experience. The visit to St Emilion was nice.

Nice but short visit
I recommend this activity but I would like to have had a more extensive tour inside the building (visiting some other areas) and a more complete explanation of the main auditorium, not so focused on the ceiling decorations.
Answer from Monsieur l'Office de Tourisme et des Congrès de Bordeaux Métropole
Dear Manuel, We thank you for your feedback about the visit of the Grand-Théâtre. During this tour, we are unfortunately limited to the areas to which we are granted access (the foyer, the staircase, the Boireau lounge and a view of the auditorium from a glass-fronted box). However, in a quality concern, we sent your impressions to the service in charge and to the guide to improve the quality of this guided tour in the future. Best regards. The Bordeaux Métropole Tourist Office team
